The Des Moines Amnesty International Chapter will kick off the National Banned Book Week at the Iowa Peace Fair. Learn about books that are banned and prosecuted authors in prison because of the writing they produce, circulate and read. More information on other events will be available at the Iowa Peace Fair.

October 19-21 is National Weekend of Faith in Action on the Death Penalty.
